My Approach
With 8 years of clinical experience working with eating disorders and co-occurring substance use issues, I provide evidence-based therapy for anxiety, perfectionism, self-criticism, and burnout. I take a practical, collaborative approach, helping clients identify unhelpful patterns, build coping skills, and practice strategies in real-world situations. Using CBT and ACT, I support self-compassion, psychological flexibility, and values-based, sustainable change. My goal is to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to navigate challenges with confidence.
I have extensive experience using both Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support lasting change. With CBT, I help clients identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to anxiety, disordered eating, perfectionism, and self-criticism. Through ACT, I guide clients in increasing psychological flexibility, learning to relate differently to difficult emotions, and taking action aligned with their values, even in the presence of discomfort.
